We feature 14 rotating drafts, one cask-conditioned ale and stock a fantastic wine selection with many local, organic and biodynamic offerings. The South Street Brewery was founded in 1998 and is housed in a renovated warehouse built in the late 1800s. Old brick walls, hardwood floors and thick timber pillars provide a striking setting for our custom-built brew house and a spacious, welcoming atmosphere in which to enjoy our fresh, handcrafted ales and lagers as well as our seasonal fare. Our dedication to originality and fresh ingredients as well as relaxed, friendly service will provide a memorable experience. We're located in Historic Downtown Charlottesville just two blocks south of the pedestrian mall and are open between 4:30pm-2:00am each Monday through Saturday.
